Prayer- Partnering with God

God wants us to be in a relationship with Him, where we have intimacy and truly know Him. Prayer is one of the ways that God reveals His heart to His people, and as we grow in this spiritual discipline we will come to know Him more deeply. We should spend more time listening and less time speaking as we grow in this area. It isn't about trying to strong arm God to get Him to do what we want, it is hearing His voice and partnering with what He wants to do. Your Kingdom come... your will be done. At the heart of it, prayer is an exchange of our wishes for God's.
